Upon receiveing the item I discovered the kit actually had 2 AA and 2 AAA rechargable batteries. I need 4 AA not two. There are two different products listed for this kit, one being the aforementioned and the one I wanted. Energizer Easy Charger Kit

(More customer reviews)I've had this charger for a week already. It is the best I've ever seen, It charges all three types of batterys safely. I had this other charger that sometimes made the batterys leak, this one dosn't do that. Also, RAY-O-VAC charges in an extrodinary time not like others that take for ever and sometimes even screw up the batterys, not only that RAY-O-VAC saves you energy. So I recomend the RAY-0-VAC battery charger. Thank you for your time.

(More customer reviews)Rechargable batteries have come a long way since the horrid little things that took 24 hours to charge and worked for 24 minutes. The bottom line is, anything you use that you have to replace batteries in on a regular basis, needs to be replaced with these. The initial investment will pay for itself in no time flat. I've been using a few different varieties of these NiMH batteries for a few years (with this one being the current type) and I would never be without them. Not to mention that depending upon what you're using them in, they tend to actually last longer than normal Alkaline batteries. Only drawback is still that they won't hold a charge forever though chances are you'll use it up long before the natural discarge drains it.

(More customer reviews)The four AA rechargeables alone are worth the price. The charger is primitive--no automatic shutoff, no on/off switch, no labeling telling you which slots to use if you are charging only two batteries--but it works.
It took me a few minutes to realize that there was a plastic film that needed to be removed from the contacts on the charger before it would work.

The company that supplied it immediately followed up on its delivery and urged me to submit a positive review as to my satisfaction. I didn't know then what I know now. The charger didn't work at all. Three of the four batteries that came with it were ready to be charged but the fourth was a bad cell and wouldn't take a charge. I had to use a charger at work to determine what was wrong because the charger I purchased would go through the steps to make you think it was working, but actually did nothing. The indicator lights will flash at first, then after some time, they would turn solid green to make you think the batteries were charged. The batteries never charged, so now I'm sending it back for a refund.

(More customer reviews)The rayovacI-c3 battery system simply rocks and there the only thing i use in my remotes as when they die from use you can simply toss them into the charger and bang 15 min later their fully charged and I can deal with that as it much better then buying expensive batterys or waiting around many many hours for the other NIMH to recharge.
there are also great on the go as I can recharge them in my car or any place with an electric outlet you can sit around for 15 minutes.
so I would recomend these for everyone who need AA or AAA battteys in a rush
